1. Who we are
Plekia is a location analysis service focused on neighbourhood context in the Netherlands. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at legal@plekia.com.
2. What data we collect
Account data
When you create an account, we store your email address, optional name, and encrypted password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
Location data
We store the addresses and listing URLs you submit so you can revisit your saved analysis history. Guest analyses without an account are not stored.
Payment data
If you upgrade to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details, only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
Usage data
We track account usage, billing activity, and first-party product analytics such as page views, analysis starts, and conversions. We do not use advertising pixels or third-party analytics trackers.
Feedback data
If you send feedback through the in-app widget, we store your message, optional rating, and the page it was sent from so we can review it in the admin panel and improve the product.
3. How we use your data

4. Third-party services
Supabase
We use Supabase for authentication and database storage. Your account data is stored in Supabase's infrastructure. See Supabase Privacy Policy.
Stripe
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. When you upgrade to a paid plan, your payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe. See Stripe Privacy Policy.
Groq
AI verdicts and address extraction are powered by Groq. The address you submit and nearby place data are sent to Groq to generate the AI summary. See Groq Privacy Policy.
OpenStreetMap data
Location context such as nearby transit, parks, restaurants, and amenities is fetched from OpenStreetMap-based sources. Coordinates are used to retrieve nearby public place data.
5. Data retention
Your saved analyses remain available while your account is active. You can delete individual analyses from your history at any time. To request full account deletion, email legal@plekia.com.
6. Cookies
We use session cookies required to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise those rights, contact legal@plekia.com.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update this page and notify registered users when appropriate.
